Who says Chili isn’t good in the spring? There are so many different ways to make chili. Every time we make chili, it never tastes the same!
This is a knockout chili recipe that my Mama made. I can’t take the credit for this one!
2 lbs. of ground beef or omit beef for vegan recipe
2 cloves of Garlic in oil and a little bit of oil added
1 large can of Diced Tomatoes
1 package of McCormick’s Chili Mix with no preservatives
1 large onion
1 jar of Sliced Pimientos
2 cups of ketchup(no high fructose corn syrup)
8 Jalapeno peppers chopped
2 large cans of chili beans
Try to find organic or non-gmo products if possible.
Brown ground beef and onions in a large pot. Drain beef. Add remaining ingredients, add a bit of garlic oil and a bit of jalepeno pepper juice and cook for 1-2 hours on the stove or all day in a crock-pot!
Place chili on a bed of mixed greens for a healthy and hearty dinner!
